StealthStation S8 is a surgical navigation system enabling precise monitoring of surgical instrument positions during surgery. It serves as an auxiliary aid for precise location of anatomical structures in open or percutaneous procedures. StealthStation S8 system represents the most advanced version of Stealth technology – a combination of hardware, software, monitoring algorithms, merging image data with specialized instruments which assist you during surgical procedures. Indications for use include all medical conditions requiring stereotactic surgery, and situations where the reference to the rigid anatomical structure such as the skull, long bones, or the spine, can be identified relative to the model based on CT or MR images, fluoroscopy, or digitalized landmarks of the anatomy. StealthStation surgical navigational system offers optical and EM tracking capabilities, integration with external devices such as microscopes and ultrasound, a wide array of instruments and core software applications for neurosurgery and spinal procedures, including:
Biopsy • Tumour resection • Catheter placement • Deep brain stimulation lead placement • Spinal decompression or fusion (including, but not limited to ACDF, ALIF, PLIF, TLIF, cortical screw placement • Spinal or pelvic fixation (including, but not limited to, SI joint fixation, occipital pedicle placement, cortical and facet screws, fixation for scoliosis, kyphosis, or other deformities) • Treatment for spinal or sacral trauma (including, but not limited to, vertebroplasty, sacroplasty)
