CARPEDIEM

The cardio-renal pediatric dialysis machine CARPEDIEM is specifically designed for small babies with acute kidney injury or renal failure requiring dialysis. Before the development and approval of the cardio-renal pediatric dialysis machine - CARPEDIEM, there was no machine designed specifically for continuous hemodialysis in small babies and children with acute kidney injury. Given that CARPEDIEM is specifically designed for use in the smallest patients, it enables hospitals to provide safer and more effective life-saving therapy. The Carpediem device is intended for performing hemodialysis (HD) and hemofiltration on patients weighing between 2.5 and 10 kilograms. Considering that these are the youngest and smallest patients, the machine also allows for lower blood flow rates, from 1ml to 50 ml/min.
