XIII SAPO Symposium – Small Circle of Great People

The Serbian Association of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngologists (SAPO) organized the 13th edition of the symposium titled "Small Circle of Great People", held at Kopaonik from May 11th to May 14th, 2023. Allergic diseases in pediatric otorhinolaryngology were the main theme of this year's gathering.

The symposium presented the latest insights in the field of allergic diseases in pediatric otorhinolaryngology, encompassing closely related pediatric areas such as pediatric allergology and immunology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, and anesthesiology.

Additionally, two practical workshops were conducted during which Marlo Medic had the opportunity to present to specialists in the field of Otorhinolaryngology Medtronic's navigational system used during operations on the prenasal cavities. The presentation highlighted its technical characteristics and advantages. Demonstrations were done using the device on a piece of chicken meat to illustrate the ease of tissue removal in humans without bleeding.
