The First Urology Laser in Eastern Serbia Installed at the General Hospital in Bor

The General Hospital in Bor has successfully installed the first urology laser in Eastern Serbia – the Litho Evo 35W, manufactured by the renowned company Quanta System, with Marlo Medic serving as the distributor for Serbia.

This innovative device represents an advancement over previous models of Quanta System’s low-power holmium lasers, enhancing their performance and introducing new technologies developed for high-power lasers. The Litho EVO stands out for its exceptional versatility, enabling effective use in both lithotripsy (the breaking of kidney and urinary tract stones) and soft tissue surgery.

The installation and initial use of this laser were conducted with the participation of Dr. Vidoje Radosavljević, a urologist from the General Hospital in Bor. Thanks to this device, patients from Bor and surrounding areas now have access to state-of-the-art urological treatments without the need to travel to larger medical centers.
